Kiran Bir Sethi is an Indian designer, educationist, education reformer, and social

entrepreneur. With a degree in visual communication from the National Institute of

Design,Ahmedabad, she began her career designing restaurants, and later, writing

for newspapers. While she had always been interested in design thinking and

designing experiences, it was when her children started going to school that Sethi

recognised her true calling. 

Dismayed by the unfriendly and rigid atmosphere in schools, she set up The

Riverside School in Ahmedabad, followed by aProCh, and finally Design for Change

which is today the largest movement of change – for and by the children.  Born in

Bangalore, India, Sethi comes from a family of designers.  She lives in Ahmedabad

with her 2 children, Raag and Jazz and her husband, Geet.  She loves life, dark

chocolate and Govinda movies!

Tabea Oppliger, Co-Founder of the Non Profit “GlowbalAct” and Social Business “KitePride”

Tabea Oppliger was born in 1977 to Swiss parents and raised in Papua New Guinea, spending her first 16 years of life there. Tabea then lived in Switzerland for 20 years for education and professional reasons where she also got married and gave birth to her three children. An unstoppable force to see justice and freedom for all, Tabea founded GlowbalAct, a charity seeking to eradicate modern day slavery. In 2014 Tabea and her family moved to Tel Aviv, Israel where they established a social business called KitePride as a solution for people formerly exploited in the sex industry and beyond. A cataylst for change, Tabea’s enthusiasm and charisma will inspire you to action. 

Latin American entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in Advertising and Communications. Inspired by her daughter, she decided to go after her dreams and created Tedybujo, a company that transforms kids drawings into stuffed animals. Gil Winch (Ph.D. Psychology) is an organizational consultant and a TED.com speaker. In 2008 he founded Call Yachol (CY), a free-market staffed and managed primarily by, severely disabled people. CY’s employees have inspired visitors from over 70 countries and Two years ago CY opened the ‘Employers Academy’ – a one of a kind “hands on” training facility for HR and Managers in the use of CY’s unique managerial model.

Gil lives with his wife and two daughters and is the identical twin brother of Guy winch, who has three Ted talks of his own.

Michal Levi Arbel was a fashion reporter for the mass-circulation newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth for four years. After she found out the truth about the fashion industry and the way we consume fashion and especially dispose of it, she decided to leave the glamorous position and to investigate the environmental effects of fast fashion.

During the last few years She lectured around Israel about this trendy topic in order to increase the awareness toward the way we consume and get rid of clothes. In the past year she published the Book 'Life is too short, don't buy the shoes', with the author Shelly Gross, who became a best seller and made dozens of women change their shopping habits.

Noam leads the Corporate Social Responsibility Consulting at Deloitte Israel, that supports local and global organizations in implementing advanced business models in environmental, social and governance (ESG) fields. Under the belief that these can be substantial and sustainable only when contributing to business success, Noam specializes in designing management systems for social and environmental impact in core activities of firms – creating shared value for their stakeholders. In her private life, Noam is a social entrepreneur and has founded and managed non-profit ventures with significant national impact. Today she serves on the Boards of several education and social equality charities.

Nir is the CEO & Co founder of the "20-80 Connections" enterprise.

20-80 Creates new technological tools to facilitate meaningful connections between young and old, alleviating feelings of loneliness while enhancing social strength and resilience.

He served as the CEO of "Dor LeDor" from 2012 through 2020.

He is a Co-founder of "Lightapp", a social application that creates Intergenerational communities in 5 major cities in Israel, connecting over 20,000 participants.

Nir is also the co-founder of “Misaviv Lamdura”, an initiative that takes place annually, which connects thousands of Israelis every year with the founders generation of the State of Israel.

Nir founded the JDC “Voices of the Generations” Forum, leading 20 different organizations in the field of ageing in collaboration with the Israeli government.

Nir dedicated a year after his combat army service to be an Informal education instructor in Bialik College in Melbourne, Australia.

Nir holds a master's degree in public policy studies from the Tel Aviv University, BA in Literature from Tel Aviv University and is a Graduate of the Jerusalem Statesmanship Program.

Sarai has a degree in Industrial Engineering and a master's in Organizational Psychology and 15 years of experience in the CSR field. She has received a scholarship from Japan in the Executive Management Program in Industrial Relations. She has participated in the 24th World Volunteering Conference convened by the International Association for Voluntary Effort as a speaker.

In 2016, the Mexican Center of Philanthropy recognized her as one of the 40 Women Leaders who has contributed to social responsibility in Mexico. She is currently CSR Manager of one of the biggest retailers in Mexico and Regional Coordinator of Good Deeds Day

Lior Zorno Hefetz, 33, born in Mexico, married, a mother of three, and lives in Lod.

Established and managed the "Ayalim" student villages in Lod.

In 2015, Lior was appointed CEO of "Tozeret Haaretz ", a movement that establishes student and young communities in the geographical and social periphery of Israel. The movement includes about 1,500 students and young activists in 13 cities.

Lior holds a BA in Psychology and a Master's degree in organizational consulting and development.

Jeremy Spicer, born in the Jewish community of Melbourne and raised on kibbutz Sde Eliyahu. A social worker who believes that community work is the best platform for creating real and lasting social impact. Today Jeremy works in Ayalim, Israel's largest young community movement. The organization founds student villages, where the residents take part in social impact activities, Hebrew labor, and the creation of a local cultural scene, leading to the formation of many new young communities. As an important member of the organization's management, Jeremy is an integral part of this process.

Rami is a passionate entrepreneur and experienced business executive dedicating his ambition and skills to improve the lives of those who need better care.

Hiral Patel is the Head of Sustainable & Thematic Investing within Equity Research at Barclays. The team publish long-term research on sustainability topics and emerging thematic trends, including investment opportunities across the public and private space. Hiral joined the team in June 2018 following five years covering the European Technology, Payments and FinTech sector. Prior to that, Hiral qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG where she worked in Audit covering Financial Services. Hiral graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies
